REGISTERING FOR MCTA JTT SUMMER SESSION IS NOW OPEN UNTIL JUNE 6

Session runs Sundays from June 22-July 27 ( not July 6)

The summer session will have the same format at our last winter one. Minimum of 2 players per team, 3 is suggested. Format is team matches on sunday afternoon-evenings for all ages and levels at The Tennis Center at College Park on the outdoor courts. Play can move inside due to inclement weather if available. Matches will be one doubles proset and two singles prosets.  Fee is $65 per player plus $5.38 usta activex fee for tennis link. total is $70.38 per player. Guaruntee of 5 team matches.

Dear Parents,

This multi-step registration is sometimes confusing, but it is also necessary to ensure the program runs smoothly. Please PRINT and READ all the directions  BEFORE proceeding to click on the registration link. When you have the directions printed, it will make it much easier for you to understand what you are seeing and what you should do when you follow the link.

1. Join the USTA as a junior of family member.
           Before Registering for MCTA JTT, All participants must be junior or family members of the USTA. Please go to  www.usta.com or call 1-800-990-USTA to join the USTA today!  

Now you are ready to register your child for MCTA JTT. Have your child’s USTA number and a credit card ready!2. ONLY AFTER You have PRINTED and READ these directions - Click on this link to get to team tennislink.

At the team tennis link screen, look for these words that are in GREEN TEXT Click on the link that says “This Program is Open for Registration. To join, click here� This link will take you to another page.

1. SKIP THE TOP PORTION OF THIS PAGE (You DO NOT have a team code AND YOU WILL NOT GET ONE)
2. Go to the open boxes that have pull down menus half way down the page. Using the pull-down menus, select the appropriate age Division and ability level (e.g., “18 and under Advanced�)
3. Enter the player's USTA number in the appropriate box
4. Repeat the above for any other player you are registering
5. Proceed to checkout; provide credit card information as requested; (will charge you $65 per player session fee plus $5.38 usta activex processing fee - total is $70.38) complete the transaction; and you are registered!
6. Escape out of team tennis link after you have checked out.
7.  DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FORM YOUR TEAM ON LINE. YOU MUST EMAIL HOLLY UTT TEAM INFORMATION FOR HER TO FORM YOUR TEAM FOR YOU ONLINE.

BEFORE THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE ENDS -CAPTAINS MUST CONTACT HOLLY UTT

 IS ON YOUR TEAM -EVEN BEFORE THEY HAVE REGISTERED IS FINE!

·         The names of your players or if you need to be placed on a new team.

 ·         Team Name

·         Parent- Captain name and a cell number

·         Team age and division level

·         CAPTAIN’S CODE – See below on how to obtain or send me your code from last  season

  Getting a  “captains code� ·         Go to http://tennislink.usta.com/teamtennis/main/homepage.aspx and click on "become a coach/captain" on the far right column. Follow the steps to get a captains code and /or link your adult usta member number . ·         On that screen if you have a usta number of your own- fill in the first box and submit. If you do not have a usta number- that’s fine- just fill in the information and CREATE your own password.

·         SEND HOLLY THE CODE or your Linked USTA NUMBER to Holly at hutt@mctatennis.org

 Winter Awards for first place division winners are available for pick up Saturday, May 2- Wednesday, May 14 from the desk at The Tennis Center at College Park (TCCP).
