For the Spring season MCTA/JTT will follow JTT National (Championship Season) Rules & Regulations. A full copy is available at the USTA's site.

Some MCTA/JTT Spring rules that are different from Fall and Winter are:
- Each team must have at least 3 boys and 3 girls.
- Matches consist of one boys singles, 1 girls singles, and 1 mixed doubles.
- Players must remain age-eligible through Aug. 31, 2010. If a player has a birthday that will put him/her into a higher age group on or before Aug. 31, that player must play in the higher age group.
- Players with 300 or more ranking points as of Aug. 31, 2009 must play in the Advanced division, regardless of the age group.
- Subsitutes may still be used but that score will be entered as 6-0, 6-0 default.
- MCTA/JTT division winners are eligible to partipate in the USTA/Maryland championship. 1st and 2nd place teams at the state championship in 12-under, 14-under and 18-under divisions are eligible to compete at the USTA/Mid-Atlantic section championship. 14-under and 18-under teams can compete at the USTA national JTT championship.
