Spring Session JTT organizes in March/April, with match play running from early May through June. Matches are scheduled on Saturday or Sunday evenings at various indoor and outdoor facilities throughout Montgomery County. The number of matches played and length of the season is determined by the number of teams registered, as each division must play a full round robin. Generally, teams are scheduled for one match every week.
Spring Session JTT is our "Championship season" -- where teams are organized in strict accordance with national Junior Team Tennis regulations, and with division winners advancing to Maryland State, Mid-Atlantic Section, and National Championship competition. Divisions offered are 10-and-under; 12-and-under; 14-and-under; and 18-and-under. All teams must be co-ed with a minimum of 3 boys and 3 girls. Teams can be formed at either the Intermediate or Advanced levels within each Division. Local match format is one court of boy's singles, one court of girl's singles, and one court of mixed doubles, played simultaneously.
