Heat Up the Courts
A holiday tennis tournament event for seniors -- the HOTTIES Challenge -- was held Saturday, December 10, at Quince Orchard Swim and Tennis Club in Gaithersburg. Trophies, gifts, raffle, and holiday food and drink were all part of the evening's fun.

Bruce Francis Memorial Tournament
The Bruce Francis Memorial Tournament is a Maryland District Championship event. Players may enter up to 2 events (one singles + one other). The tournament runs over the Labor Day weekend, September 2-5, 2011 and will play at TCCP in College Park, MD.
This tournament is named in memory of Bruce Francis, who died suddenly in late 2005. Bruce was an avid tennis player, and a dedicated volunteer at the local, District, and Section levels. Bruce was a member of the MCTA Board of Directors and served as MCTA's first webmaster.
